We support our community
We are committed to our mission of enriching our community through information, education, technology, and cultural opportunities. We reach out and listen to our community and our patrons everyday. We focus our efforts on providing services that help and improve lives.

Community Engagement
We work with the community to bring people closer together. By connecting with residents through Community Conversations, outreach efforts, and collaborations with community leaders and organizations, we learn what the community needs most. We turn that knowledge into events and services that meet those needs. If you have ideas to share or an interest in helping the community, we want to hear from you!
Braille & Talking Books
Taylor Community Library is the main hub in Wayne County for the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled. Our program provides Talking Books and Magazines, books in large print and braille, descriptive DVDs for the visually impaired, and a wide variety of assistive technology.
Schools & Teachers
Education is important to us. We have designed library services especially for educators and students. We help sign students and teachers up for library cards, make special presentations in schools, host classrooms in our building and provide special materials to support learning in and out of the classroom.
